Spring Studios | Creative Industry: does it need a change?
The Future of Advertising
Anouk Jans will be introducing “Kill Your Darlings”, a documentary film presented back in June of 2022 at Cannes Lions International Festival for Creativity. Together with Tobias Christoph Collée, VP Global NIVEA Brand, Elisabetta Grabar, Employer Branding, Learning and Development and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for Buccellati, and Boris Barboni, Chief Marketing and Product Officer for Pomellato, Anouk will spark a conversation around the documentary and topics related to the future of advertising and the challenges of the creative industry, brands and agencies are facing.
The documentary follows Anouk, the youngest German Creative Director, throughout her journey of reflection. In her quest to find answers about the future of advertising, she meets and interviews industry legends such as Scott Galloway, Cindy Gallop, Fernando Machado, and Rob Reilly. Together, they face varying topics, including the relationship between agencies and clients, expectations, timing constraints for creative ideas, how briefs are given, diversity in teams, talent attraction and management, and agency organization model.
